::STYLED BY INSPIRATION #6::

Doing some research for the birthday brunch menu, I discovered this amazing tumblr called Culinary Porn, every time I scrolled down I found something more delicious, but this image immediately caught my attention. Maybe it was the color palette that kept me intrigue to know what it was, so I started digging and thanks to Google Image I found the original source; it belongs to Pure Vege, a blog dedicated to veggie food. So here it is; a healthy salad as an inspiration for today's style look.

Key words: natural, autumn, easygoing
Color palettedark warm colors, purple, burgundy, brown, military green with a touch of bright yellow

The look: a soft maxi skirt mixed with a tailored blazer, casual but chic perfect for a days of meetings, take out the jacket and you are ready for the happy hour.

::STYLE BY INSPIRATION #3::

Running through my pinboards on Pinterest, I found this image I saved a long time ago. I looked up the link and ended up on Sarah E. Rehmer's website. She is an amazing american graphic designer and photographer, with a big passion for fine arts. I loved this pieces, it was made in 2011 with encaustic and oil on a panel. The mixed textures and forms helped me get inspired and create this week style look.

Key words: rough, street, mixed materials.
Color palette: mixed grays, washed - out blue and a grungy mint.
The look: casual, lay-back outfit, perfect for a concert/festival or a friendly lunch.

::STYLE BY INSPIRATION #2::

I'm in diet - mode, remember? I'm trying to reduce my everyday dose of sweetness, and it's killing me!!!
However, I couldn't resist to take this image, a delicions Raspberry&Chocolate Mini Tarts, as my inspiration for this week style look.

Key words: sweet, smooth, texture, feminine.
Color palette: a delicate combination of neutrals and soft pinks, mixed with a bright red to turn on the volume.
The look: a girly/ lady-like outfit, perfect for a night out or a formal occasion.

::STYLE BY INSPIRATION #1::

There is a new segment on the blog, it's called "Style by Inspiration". Every week (well.. I'll try!) I will find an image for inspiration, it could be anything or everything; a interior, or a poster, or a postcard, or a dessert, etc, ect. Then, I will analyze the image through some key words that will help me describe the atmosphere or feeling. In addiction, I will make a color palette extracting the hues from the photograph. At the end, all these elements will be useful to create an outfit style.
I'm pretty excited about this project, it's a good exercise to find inspiration and think outside of the box. Also, if you are not good with color or pattern combinations, this is a good way to start.

Start creating!
